JOB TITLE
Senior Engineer / Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for new product development and line sustaining to ensure new product are integrated into production.
  • Able to drive for productivity improvement to reduce operation cost.
  • Analysis & simulate on product defects and provide effective control plan.
  • Generate and update manufacturing and engineering documents like Control Plan, FMEA, WI, Operation Standards, OCAP to ensure the product and process within control.
  • Lead the team to support manufacturing to be able to meet production demand effectively.
  • Continually strive to balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime (set up).
  • Assist in establishing clear, measurable and attainable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and teams results.
  • Able to produce and do presentation for all engineering activity and updates.
  • Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge ISO documentation is needed.
  • Able to perform Equipment upgrading to improve product yield and uptime.
  • Provide support and assistance in any departmental initiatives or programs conducted by other departments.
  • To lead and motivate subordinates to enable them to work together effectively and productively
  • To initiate the continuous improvement project for process improvement and growth.
  • To plan, schedule and carry out projects including design, fabrication, and installation and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university;
  • Computer literate and well versed in MS, Excel, Word, PPT and CAD drawing;
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize task, multitasking, flexible, good communication & interpersonal skills, detailed-oriented personality;
  • Knowledge of SCADA, Programmable Logic Control, drive system and feedback control would be and added advantage;
  • Knowledge in Engineering Process Tools (5 Why, 4M1E, HOQ etc.)
  • Able to work in a team and must be result-oriented;
  • Able to articulate and communicate well;
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the maintenance or engineering environment;
  • Working experience in FMCG environment would be added advantages
